We can revive dirty carpets and upholstery with two different methods.
Very Low Moisture (VLM)
The first method we use is known as VLM – very low moisture. This is done with a rotary machine and pad to agitate the pre sprayed surface to encapsulate the dirt with specific chemicals meant for the fibres/ fabric being cleaned. As a low amount of moisture is used in the cleaning process the fibres/fabric being cleaned dry quickly meaning the area cleaned can be put back in to use safely and quickly thus meaning little disruption to your business.
Hot Water Extraction
Our hot water extraction method, often mistakenly requested for as “steam cleaning,” involves pre vacuuming to remove loose soiling then pre spraying the fibres/fabric with the correct specialist chemical/ detergent for the surface. We then inject hot water mixed with a rinsing agent solution into carpet fibres under high pressure to dislodge dirt, allergens, and stains. Our powerful twin vacuum machine then extracts the hot water, rinse agent solution, and dissolved dirt simultaneously from the carpet/fabric. Finally, the pile is then reset with a rake and drying fans placed around the area to speed up the drying process. This effectively cleans embedded debris, leaving carpets thoroughly clean sanitized and fresh, and can help extend the life of the carpet.
We can advise and discuss what method is best for what is cleaned and what turnaround is required for the area being cleaned upon inspection and a test area can be carried out to show the potential results.
